For some crazy reason, I have signed up for the 2016 Great Cycle Challenge and have committed myself to ride 100 miles throughout June to fight kids’ cancer!
And my challenge starts next week.
It won’t be easy, it will take over my weekends and my life. Hmmm, I probably should have thought a bit more about what I was getting myself into. 🙂
So why have I done this? I have taken on this challenge for one reason…to kick cancer’s butt!
Because cancer is the largest killer of children in the United States – 38 kids die every week.
Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.
Cancer has taken too many young lives and robbed too many kids of their childhood. And frankly, it needs to be taught a lesson. So I’ll be riding next month to give cancer a good old-fashioned butt-kicking and give these kids the brighter futures they deserve.
I’ll endure the sore backside, helmet hair, horrific hill climbs and tight lycra, your part is easy…
Please support my challenge by making a tax deductible donation through my personal fundraising page and let’s kick cancer’s butt together!
All funds raised will support Children’s Cancer Research Fund to continue their work to develop innovative treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.
Thanks so much for your support.
